hi boys and girls it's Mrs gladkowski your school principal and this week at our school is respect week so today I am going to read you a story about showing respect for yourself and showing respect for others and the name of that book is one by Kathryn otoshi blue was a quiet color she enjoyed looking up at the sky floating on the Waze splashing in rain puddles every once in awhile he wished he could be more Sonny's like yellow or bright like green Regal like purple or outgoing like orange but overall he likes being blue except when he was with red red what's a hothead he like to pick on Blue friend is a great color he say red is hot blue is not then blue would feel bad about being blue stop X yellow comforted blue blue is a very nice color she's day but yellow never said that in front of red she never said stop picking on blue green one orange for blue was nice to but they never told red to stop either every time red says something mean and no one spoke up he got bigger MC Gregor Baker Dune Red Rooster so big that everyone was afraid of him no one dared stop him red picked on all the colors then everyone felt a little blue until one came a different shape with bold strokes and squared Corners he was funny you made the colors laugh read saw this and got very hot stop laughing he told yellow stop laughing he told green stop laughing he told purple and orange and they did Red rolled up to one stop laughing call Tim but one sit up straight like an arrow and said no red was mad but one wouldn't budge so red rolled away one turn to the colors and said if someone is mean and picks on me I for one stand up and say no then yellow felt Brave and said me to Green agreed and said she three the purple became for an orange became five Ruth saw the colors change she wanted to count Red Roof red hot he felt left out he grew hotter and hotter and hotter read restore over to Blue instead what he always did Reddit hot fluids not but this time who stood up tall and became sticks red can be really hot he said the blue can be super cool red blue of views and try to roll over blue but everyone took a stand and say no seeing them Stand Tall made red feel very very very small then return even redder began rolling away Leupold how can red be hot and blue be cool red stopped in his tracks read can count to Dad one red rocks and rolled and turned into 7 1 counts they shouted then read last and joined the fun sometimes it just takes one so boys and girls I hope that you enjoyed this book and remember to respect yourself and to respect others and be kind and it only take one act of kindness doing the right thing one time and others may follow and that's what this book was about so I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you're enjoying our respect week activities and have a great day see you soon bye
