HIB Self-Assessment School Grade Report

NJ Department of Education
School Self-Assessment for Determining Grades
under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights
School Grade Report - Grace N. Rogers School

Our school district/school has conscientiously implemented the requirements found in the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act by educating students about anti-bullying, investigating all alleged reports of bullying, and providing corrective actions to offenders and support to victims.  The Self-Assessment helped our school to identify areas for improvement. This year, we had an anti-bullying school-wide initiative related to leadership. Our school climate and culture committee planned various activities for the Week of Respect.  We are hopeful these efforts will continue our goal of a common language and protocol for proactively addressing bullying.

Each school safety team rated the 25 self-assessment indicators on a scale of 0 to 3 (0-Does Not Meet Requirements, 1-Partially Meets the Requirements, 2-Meets All Requirements, 3-Exceeds the Requirements). The highest possible final score is 78 points.
