2020-2021 Integrated Preschool Lottery Process
The updated information on how to submit an application for the 2020-2021 Integrated Preschool Lottery will be posted at the beginning of February.
The East Windsor Regional School District is pleased to offer an integrated preschool program beginning September 5, 2019. Our program will serve three (3) and four (4) year old children. To qualify, a child must be three (3) years old but not five (5) years old by October 1, 2019, and a resident within the East Windsor Regional School District.
Morning and afternoon will be held five days per week, each session will be 2 1/2 hours (AM: 8:50 to 11:20 a.m. or PM: 12:50 to 3:20 p.m.). The integrated preschool program follows the East Windsor Schools calendar, and all holidays, early dismissal days, etc. Preschool students with disabilities and non-disabled preschoolers come together in an inclusive classroom where language, academic, and social skills will be developed in a nurturing environment.
Enrollment is open to non-disabled preschool students who will be selected via a lottery process. Tuition for the program will be $300 per month for September 5, 2019, to June 18, 2020. Parents may choose to make one payment for the entire cost or pay the tuition as per a specified fee schedule. Transportation will be available, which is included in the cost of tuition.
The lottery drawing will be held Monday, April 15, 2019, at the Grace N. Rogers Elementary School Auditorium at 4:30 p.m. You do not need to be present for the lottery to be selected. Families of multiples will be selected together. Written notification regarding your status will be mailed after April 16, 2019.
An original birth certificate with a raised seal or passport; a current lease; tax bill or mortgage statement, and a current utility bill or official piece of recurring mail is required to participate in the lottery and must be presented when the lottery application and contract is submitted.
