šŸŽ®šŸ„ Mar10 Day at GNR! šŸ„šŸŽ® On March 10, GNR celebrated Mar10 Day in true Mario style! Students and staff brought the Mushroom Kingdom to life by dressing up as their favorite Mario characters, from Mario and Luigi to Princess Peach and Bowser. The excitement continued with a Mario Kart tournament, where students raced for victory and showed off their gaming skills. Classrooms were also buzzing with Mario-themed lessons that integrated problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity. It was a day full of fun, learning, and a little bit of Mario magic! šŸ„āœØ

Author and Grace N. Rogers Elementary School alumnus William Appiah, returned to GNR during Read Across America Week to read excerpts from his book series, Peter and the Prince, to fourth-grade students. Mr. Appiah shared his storywriting process, held a Q&A session, and donated several signed copies of his books to the GNR Library and fourth-grade classroom libraries. This was a truly magical moment for our students and school as we celebrated and recognized reading and literacy's power and impact on our students.

On March 3, Grace N. Rogers Elementary School students kicked off Read Across America in the coziest way possible! Dressed in their comfy clothes and pajamas, students gathered in the hallways with their teachers to participate in Drop Everything and Read. This special moment encouraged everyone to pause, grab a book, and enjoy the magic of reading together. It was a wonderful way to build a love for literacy and set the tone for an exciting week of reading celebrations! Keep turning those pages, Bulldogs!

Another successful and transformative mid-year retreat as Hightstown High School continues to celebrate 10 years of Peer Group Connection! Always a privilege to see these students in action, as they started the goal-setting process for the remainder of the year, and worked on strengthening their own teamwork and communication skills. So proud of this team!
