From August 4-7, the District Leadership Team met for its annual administrative retreat. The retreat served as an opportunity for district and building administrators to collectively engage in professional development, collaborate, plan, and prioritize focus areas for the upcoming school year.

🎶🎉 MHK students shined at the Trills & Thrills Music Festival on June 5! From choir to orchestra and band, our talented performers and amazing teachers wowed the audience and judges. Bravo on a fantastic job well done! 👏🎼

On Thursday, May 29, the Hightstown High School Chess Club hosted a simultaneous exhibition match featuring Grandmaster Arun Prasad. Prasad is one of only 2,000 Grandmasters in the world. Students not only had the unique opportunity to meet him, but were also able to play against him. During the exhibition match, GM Prasad played over 25 students and staff simultaneously.

Multilingual Hightstown High Schoolers visited WCB to read the stories they wrote and illustrated. The WCB students were impressed by their hard work and loved the visit!

🎨✨ A vibrant celebration of creativity at the MHK Art Exhibit 2025! Students showcased their incredible talent through a diverse collection of drawings, paintings, sculptures, and written reflections.

Congratulations to Hightstown High School freshman, Usmaan Shariff, who entered an Illustrated Poem Contest for Earth Day that is organized by the American Chemical Society (ACS). Usmaan received First Place out of all the Grade 9-12 entries in our local Princeton Section of the ACS. Winning first place for the Princeton Section has progressed his illustrated poem to the National ACS competition!

Hudson, MHK's therapy dog, has been enjoying providing some positive energy after NJSLA state testing!

Mrs. Pukel's second-grade class held their yearly end-of-the-year aquarium! They picked a sea animal to research and presented their report and visual to the families in the class. The students knocked it out of the park once again!

🎶 MHK rocked the stage! 🎤🎻🎺 On May 6–8, our talented choir, band, and orchestra students wowed us with amazing performances across all genres. Huge thanks to our music teachers and supportive families! 👏🎼

🎪 What a night! Our Family PAC Night on May 6th was a huge success! 🎉 Families from across the district came together for a fun-filled, carnival-themed evening full of games, laughter, and community spirit. 🥳 Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event so special for our multilingual families! ❤️

The East Windsor/ Hightstown Girls on the Run team. Students are from PLD and GNR. They will engage in an empowerment curriculum and running which will culminate in the girls running a 5K.

Hightstown Girls Lacrosse Team had a great time at the Princeton University Women’s Lacrosse game yesterday vs Stony Brook! Princeton got the win 19-13!
