Intervention Referral Services (I&RS)

What is I&RS? (Intervention & Referral Services)

If your child is struggling with learning, behavior, or health issues, our I&RS Committee is here to help. Think of this as a "team-up" between parents and educators to create a custom success plan for your student.

How the Process Works:

  1. The Referral: A parent or teacher notices a challenge and requests help.

  2. The Meeting: Our multidisciplinary team (counselors, teachers, and specialists) meets to discuss your child’s specific needs.

  3. The Action Plan: We create a clear roadmap with specific goals and strategies to help your child improve.

  4. The Review: We set a future date to check back, see what’s working, and adjust the plan as needed.

Need to start a referral? You don't have to navigate this alone. Please reach out to your School Counselor to begin the conversation.
