EWRSD offers STEM learning opportunities to all K-12 students. By participating in STEM activities, students develop and test ideas and find solutions using the Engineering Design Process. Students have opportunities to learn the basic principles of Computer Science and coding beginning in elementary school and continuing throughout middle and high school. Through active engagement with these concepts, students take educational risks, think critically, develop problem-solving skills, collaborate with their peers, and understand the creative process. These outcomes further the development of academic and career skills for all students that may be used in future learning.
