Good morning SENIORS,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year, your last year at Hightstown High School! I hope everyone is enjoying their well-deserved summer break, but before you know it, school will be starting! I’m excited to kick off what promises to be a memorable final year for you at HHS. Throughout the year, I’ll be sharing important updates via email, so please check your school account regularly to stay informed. There is a LOT of information below, so please take your time to read through it carefully and reach out if you have any questions/concerns. 

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we kindly ask that you complete all necessary forms in our grading platform, Genesis. This system is essential for accessing academic progress and scheduling information. This is also a good opportunity to clear any fines that are associated with you on your account. Graduation diplomas and parking privileges cannot be distributed until you have cleared all of the fines. Moreover, I will be updating the Grade 12 House Office webpage with announcements and resources. If you’re not already part of our Class of 2027 Google Classroom, please join as soon as possible using the code zxlznbn. This will be another place to access information throughout the year.

Below is key information regarding student parking and upcoming senior events, including senior portraits:

Senior Parking Instructions (must be completed using your student email only):

1. Registration Form: Complete the form below if you’re interested in parking at school at ANY point throughout the school year.

2. Parking Contract: Print out and sign the parking contract or email it to Mr. Soto.

3. Parking Space Painting Fundraiser (Optional): If you wish to participate in the fundraiser, fill out and submit the senior parking space fundraiser form as instructed and the senior parking design request form before painting your spot. This is the only way to receive an assigned parking space; beyond that, it will be first come, first serve. If you are paying, checks should be payable to Hightstown High School Parents Association or HHS Parents Association. There will also be a Hometown Ticketing link to purchase the tickets, but please note that there is an additional Hometown fee (about $1). The Hometown Ticketing link will be available starting August 11, 2026. A separate email will provide you with the link. The House Office will not be accepting cash. 4. Parking Tag: To receive your parking tag, bring your signed contract, driver’s license, and copy of insurance to the parent pick-up/drop-off entrance at door #1 (this is near the counseling office) on August 19th or August 20th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM to pick up your parking tag. Mrs. Lorenzo and Mr. Soto will be there to receive the information. If you cannot make these times, please email Mr. Soto. 

5. Registration Deadline: Submit your registration form by September 4, whether you’re driving in September or later in the school year. Please make sure that you secure your spot BEFORE the deadline.

• Student Schedules Released on Genesis: August 21, 2026 at 9:00 AM

• Senior Portraits: August 24–26 & October 8-9 (by appointment only) - An email from LORS will be coming soon to parents/guardians, so please continue to review your emails.  

  • Senior Make-ups - November 2 and 3 - (after-school starting at 3:00 PM)

• Senior Sunrise: September 4 at 6:15 AM 

• Senior Planning Night: September 15, 2026 at 6:00 PM

• Back to School Night: September 24 at 6:30 PM
