ebt

New Jersey’s Summer EBT program provides eligible families with $120 per child to buy groceries during the summer months. Benefits are loaded onto an EBT card and mailed directly to your home.

Is My Child Eligible?
Your child may be automatically eligible if your household:

  • Receives SNAP, TANF, Foster Care, or income-eligible Medicaid.

  • Has already been approved for Federal Free or Reduced Price school meals.

Note: If you have recently moved, please update your address with the school district to ensure you receive your card in the mail this June.

How to Apply
If you are not automatically enrolled but believe you qualify based on household income, you can apply by:

  • Submitting a lunch application via the Parent Portal.

  • Picking up a paper application at your school’s main office.

  • Returning completed forms to your child's school or the EWRSD Lunch Program at 25A Leshin Lane, Hightstown.
