Welcome to Perry L. Drew! I am looking forward to a great year. In order to keep your child safe and healthy this year, please provide me with any medical issues/concerns that he or she may have. If any medications need to be at the school for daily, as needed or emergency use, please have your child’s physician fill out any required forms. These forms can be found on the Perry L. Drew Health Office website.

Reminders:

● If you are new to the district, you must submit a new physical, up-to-date immunizations, and the dental form as per your registration packet.

● Existing students-please update me on any immunizations received over the summer and throughout the school year.

● Please be sure to send your child with a refillable water bottle every day. I do not provide cups to students.

● It is also important for your child to eat breakfast.

● If your child is going to be absent, please call the school and leave a message on the absentee mailbox.

● Children can not come to school with a fever (please do not medicate your child in the morning and send them into school), vomiting, diarrhea, signs of pinkeye (must be seen by a doctor and bring a doctor note to school) and any other illness which causes him/her to be unable to participate in class.

● Please be sure all of your phone numbers are up-to-date in case of an emergency.

● If your child needs to be out of gym or recess due to surgery, illness or injury a doctor’s note is required.
