403(b) and 457(b)


Effective June 1, 2022, East Windsor Regional School District will be partnering with PlanConnect, a respected third-party administrator, to assist in the administration of our 403B / 457 financial transactions.  
 
A third-party administrator is a vendor who specializes in the processing of related paperwork for all actions related to a retirement plan. They facilitate plan openings, transfers, roll-overs, and deduction changes.  They serve as an intermediary between the staff member and the investment company.  Once the paperwork has been established, the district will be notified by PlanConnect of any deduction changes.  Please note though that they do not provide investment advice.
 
This change does not affect any staff member who currently has a deduction into a 403B/457 plan nor does it affect anybody's ability to open an account in the future.
