Parents can find sign up for our Music Ensembles for the 2025-2026 school year here.

Hightstown High School

School Time Ensembles

Students, including rising 9th graders, must register for school time ensembles through Guidance, part of the normal course selection process.  This includes Concert Band, Wind Ensemble Honors, Orchestra, High School Choir, and Advanced Choir Honors.  Auditions are required for Wind Ensemble Honors, Advanced Choir Honors, and Schola Cantorum Honors. Feel free to contact Mr. Halat or Ms. O'Dea for Instrumental, and Mr. Allen for Choir.

After School Ensembles

HHS Marching Band

All students who will be in HHS as of next school year are welcomed to join the award winning HHS Marching Band!  Current 8th grade Band members are strongly encouraged to join. We are also looking for students to join the Color Guard. Feel free to reach out to Mr. Halat or Ms. O’Dea for more information.

Other after school ensembles will post sign up information in the Fall.

Melvin H. Kreps Middle School

MHK has one of the most comprehensive arts programs in New Jersey. At MHK, orchestra, choir, band and small group lessons are scheduled into the school day, allowing students who are in the music program to not miss their content classes for lessons.

MHK tiene uno de los programas artísticos más completos de Nueva Jersey. En MHK, las lecciones de orquesta, coro, banda y lecciones con grupos pequeños están programadas durante el día escolar. Esto permite a los estudiantes que están en el programa de música que no pierdan sus clases de contenido para las lecciones.
