HIB Self-Assessment School Grade Report

NJ Department of Education
School Self-Assessment for Determining Grades
under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights
School Grade Report - MH Kreps Middle School

In the spring of 2013, the school safety teams for each of the schools in the East Windsor Regional School District completed the New Jersey Department of Education's Self-Assessment for Determining Grades under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act.   The results of this self-assessment were based on data and practices established since the implementation of the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act in the September 2011-2012 school year.

Each school safety team rated the 25 self-assessment indicators on a scale of 0 to 3 (0-Does Not Meet Requirements, 1-Partially Meets the Requirements, 2-Meets All Requirements, 3-Exceeds the Requirements). The highest possible final score is 78 points.

Beginning with the September 2011-2012 school year, our school district/school has conscientiously implemented the requirements found in the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act by investigating all reports of alleged bullying,  providing corrective actions to offenders and support to victims. Additionally, we have trained staff members so they are more aware of what constitutes bullying and how to address and report those issues. Students have also been provided training on what constitutes bullying and how to report issues they witness or are a victim of.
