Summer Learning Opportunities: Google Classrooms and Mercer County Library Partnership

As we prepare for the 2024-2025 school year over the summer, we have some exciting updates to share!

First, we have set up Google Classrooms for students entering 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. These virtual classrooms will serve as a platform for students to access important information, resources, and engage in interactive learning activities. Starting July 8th, and every Monday thereafter until August 26th, optional work will be posted in the Google Classrooms for students to complete. This is an excellent opportunity for students to continue their learning journey and stay engaged throughout the summer months.

In addition to our Google Classroom offerings, East Windsor Regional School District is thrilled to partner with the Mercer County Library for their summer reading program. Here are some highlights:

  • Adventure Begins at Your Library: The summer reading program runs from June 17th to August 10th, 2024, and is open to all ages.
  • Pick up a reading log at the branch and log your reading minutes. Return the log weekly for a chance to win prizes!
  • Flexible Participation: You can register at any point throughout the summer, and even if you're away, you can still participate during the weeks you're present.
  • Weekly Prizes for Children: Prizes are given each week from June 24th to August 10th, encouraging consistent participation.
