ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL

Bus Students:
  • Bus pass information can be found on the Genesis Parent Portal. A printed copy of the bus pass can be requested by contacting the main office.

  • Students are expected to be at the bus stop on time. Buses depart at approximately 3:30 in the afternoon. At times, buses are delayed or run early so please anticipate this possibility. A parent/guardian must be present at the bus stop for our students or the driver is directed to bring the student back to our school for parent pick-up

 

EMK Arrival

The parking lot is accessible, but NO cars can move in the lot from 8:30 - 8:50 or until all buses are dismissed.

 

8:40 am - 8:45 am

8:45 am school begins

 

Children must not be left unattended before 8:40 am

 

(Students receiving breakfast will be permitted to enter at 8:30 am by a staff member)

 
  • Bus Arrival - Parking lot

  • Walker Drop-Off - Front Doors. Lightning Lane

  • Drop-Off Procedures (vehicles) - Front Loop, Lightning Lane

  • Parents can wait on the right side of Lightning Lane (loop in front of the school). Cars are to remain in a single lane.

  • Parents should not exit their cars at any time.

  • Once parents enter the “drop-off zone,” a staff member will come to assist children out of the car.

  • Cars will not leave the loop until directed. Do not go around cars in front of you unless instructed.


EMK Dismissal

The parking lot is accessible, but NO cars can move in the lot from 3:20 - 3:40 or until all buses are dismissed.

 

3:15 pm- 3:30 pm - Full Day

1:15- 1:30 - Early Dismissal

  • Bus Dismissal - Parking Lot

  • Walker/ Pick-Up - Front Doors, Lightning Lane

  • Pick-Up Procedures (vehicles)

    • Parents are to park in a single lane in Lightning Lane.

    • Parents are to stay in or in the car for pick-up.

    • Students will be walked to your vehicle.

    • Cars will not leave the loop until directed. Do not go around cars in front of you unless instructed.

 

ANY CHANGES TO DISMISSAL SHOULD ALWAYS BE COMMUNICATED WITH THE MAIN OFFICE AND THE CLASSROOM TEACHER. IF EMAILING, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU RECEIVE CONFIRMATION. IF NO CONFIRMATION IS RECEIVED, PLEASE CALL THE SCHOOL SO WE CAN ENSURE THE TEACHER IS AWARE.

Written Out Loud Spring 2024 Invite

We are pleased to offer all students in grades 2-12 (for the 23-24 school year) a Spring writing learning experience. The East Windsor Regional School District, utilizing ARP/ESSER 2 federal funding, will be partnering with Written Out Loud to provide a fully remote writing camp opportunity.
